September22011
Have my blog become a monthly blog? I hope not. I have been so busy lately. A lot has happened in August and I’d love to update them.
September is here and it will be a steeper uphill climb from this moment forward. I will explain more soon. For now, I need to rest well and prepare myself for my final exams. Good luck to my pals who will be having their exams too.

Hmm, time flies doesn’t it? Two third of the year is almost gone. This month will be my busiest month. With the semester nearing it’s end, tests are trickling in and deadlines for many projects are looming near.
I feel ‘busy’ in a sense that there are many priorities on the to-do-list. On the other hand, I think I have one of the most free schedules in UTP. Let’s see. I have 3 lectures on Monday, 2 lectures on Wednesday, 1 lecture each on Tuesday and Thursday. So not only I have much free time during the weekdays, I have also 3 days of weekends (since Friday is lecture free). To top that, I’m taking a break from joining events.
Well, the thing with having too much time is it gives you a false sense of security that there will always be time, so procrastination is no big deal. I’m down with this syndrome recently, so gotta turn my mindset around. The starting of August is a wake up call that there’s not much time left!
On another matter, Dean list ceremony is yesterday. I have to say the mystery gift is really a surprise and one of a kind. Who would expect to get a badge?
Of course, all Dean List’s students deserve to give each other a pat on the back for their achievements. However, I have to admit my enthusiasm seems to be waning with each passing year. I do remember how excited I was when I first got my Dean List cert during Foundation.
Perhaps, in the end, it doesn’t really matter because it’s just a number on a piece of paper. We all know how it’s really like when we’re out there someday searching for a job. Good grades does help place you in a higher priority list, but that’s it. They are as short-lived as your gleaming SPM, PMR, and UPSR results, stepping stones that slowly crumbles away as you venture further down your path. You can no longer turn back to use them as leverage again.

I’m typing this post with an on-screen keyboard. Accidentally spilled some water onto my keyboard yesterday night and today this is the outcome.
I guess i should count my blessings. My whole laptop could be fried but it’s just the keyboard, at least for now. Hoping the watery menace won’t spread to other parts of the computer.
Typing like this is painstaking and slow. Can’t do any wordy assignment for now. Gonna find an external keyboard before i’m down with carpal tunnel. If i had bought a protective cover earlier this would never had happened. Lesson learned! Safety is more important than a little lost in aesthetics and sensitivity from using a keyboard protective layer!

This drink may sound exquisite and high-class, but only disappointment belies its fancy name.
Let’s just say it’s a scoop of strawberry ice-cream plopped into a glass of 100 plus tinged with red artificial coloring (or is there any red colored soft drink i might have missed?)
Priced at RM 4.50, i can probably find more satisfaction in buying a Cornetto ice-cream and use the leftover to buy myself a 2 Liter 100 plus.
